British Compressed Air Society Member since 1998
The BCAS was founded in 1930 at the instigation of the British Government. It is an organisation open to manufacturers, distributors and end users of compressed air products, portable air compressors and services. BCAS and its members have the following aims:-
To promote the use of safe and reliable power.
To improve the services they offer industry.
To encourage and help members to develop their professional competence.
The Society actively represents the interests of members and the compressed air industry to both United Kingdom Government, European and overseas Institutions.
Safe Contractor Approved
Safe Contractor is a leading health and safety pre-qualification assessment scheme. Dedicated to promoting higher standards of competence and compliance through the provision of relevant industry specific, and tailored health and safety assessments for all professions and sectors.
CSCS Construction Skills Certification Scheme
CSCS was set up to help the construction industry to improve quality and reduce accidents. CSCS cards are increasingly demanded as a proof of occupational competence by contractors, public and private clients and others. Marshall Brewson achieved a certificate of commitment 'Platinum Award' with over 90% of its workforce registered to CSCS.
Engineering Services SKILLcard
The industry-recognised card issuing and personnel registration scheme for people working in the mechanical sector of the building services industry. All Marshall Brewson engineers are registered with SKILLcard.
SPA Safety Passport Alliance
The Safety Pass Alliance was established in response to the needs identified within industry, and has undertaken to develop and extend the safety passport culture across all interested sectors. SSPA is committed to providing a nationally recognised standard of health and safety training and assurance, which is cost-effective, easily accessible, and caters for each industry sector.
CONtractor COMpetence is a collaborative client-led contractor auditing scheme. It is designed to assess competence and promote continuous improvement.
Concom monitors and promotes competency of contractors employed on the Humber Bank sites through the auditing of QHSE standards. It promotes continuous improvement against common Safety and Competency Schemes across the Humber Bank Industries.
The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) promotes the safe and effective use of powered access equipment worldwide. Providing technical advice and information, through influencing and interpreting legislation and standards, through its safety initiatives and training programmes. It is a not-for-profit organisation owned by its members who include manufacturers, rental companies, contractors and users.
